EcoEnterprises Fund IV invests in bioeconomy companies in Latin America that preserve natural capital, mitigate climate change, and drive equitable and inclusive, sustainable development. Managed by a women-owned and led fund manager, the $150M fund invests in key nature-based solutions sectors such as agroforestry, the circular economy, regenerative agriculture organic foods, and climate tech. Operating in Brazil, Colombia, Costa Rica, Dominican Republic, Ecuador, Guatemala, Honduras, Mexico, and Peru, EcoEnterprises specializes in growth capital (mezzanine, debt-like instruments, and equity) to fill market financing gaps in the “missing middle” for growth-stage companies in Latin America, where the funding landscape is dominated by early-stage players and larger, more mature companies. This investment is part of SEDF’s larger commitment to inclusive and locally led green growth as a pillar of open society.
